Me and shoes

When it is time for me to update this blog, I will just stay rooted to the seat and stare at the computer. There are so many thngs that I would like to write down but there's simply NO TIME! I have been so busy these few months that I was on the verge of breakdown last week. 'Busy as a bee' is an understated description of my life during the past few weeks, make it months then. I ain't no high flyer but I feel that the amount of work I am doing is overwhelming. I am this close, so close to raise up the white flag *resists the urge*

These days, my life revolves around the office, home and gym. Oh yes, the gym - the enclosed space for urbanites like me to sweat it out, and enjoy an hour of pure 'let go'. Sometimes, I really wonder if my social life has been stripped away from me. Well-meaning friends, knowing that I am busy, try their best to reduce their smses and/or calls to my cellphone. However, sometimes, I do yearn for the occasional text message from a familiar number. Well, there is no 'format' for today's entry. Simply a blog entry filled with the accumulated rants of the past months.

Retail therapy works superbly well for a stressed-up individual like me. My latest fetish? SHOES! No just any brand, but from Charles and Keith. Some of you might shake your heads with disapproval, even commenting that I should go for 'better brands' (Well, if I am loaded like Ms Paris Hilton who by the way, cannot sing at all!! And her MTV is just laden with sexual connotations. Alright, let me blast about her for a while. I wonder who on earth will be in the right mind to buy her CD?! Even Britney Spears aka Mrs Federline sings better than Paris. Well, pardon me for such a poor comparison. Ok, back on track. Yah If I am loaded as Paris, I would certainly go for the Jimmy Choos,TODs and MArc Jacobs.)Charles and Keith,in my opinion, is Singapore's best export in terms of fashion retail. Great shoes at simply affordable prices esp those meant for office-wear. I bought my 5th pair just 2 weeks ago. I wasn't a shoe-fan until I joined my current company.Apparently the ladies here are head over heels *no pun intended* over shoes. =)

Am saving up for a pair of Jimmy Choo...*slurp*
